Early 2006 Campaign

Autumn / Winter Campaign

International Marketing Activity

The team is developing a new suite of international marketing materials that will be used to target international visitors and provide our overseas contacts within VisitBritain's offices with our key messages.   The new materials will be ready to support the launch activity in January 2006. 

Work continues on the delivery of the hectic schedule of international trade and consumer exhibitions where North East England will be represented:

In addition the new North East England Holiday and Short Breaks Guide will be distributed at exhibitions across the world including Sweden, America, Canada and Australasia.

British Travel Trade Fayre

This event will be held in Birmingham on the 1st and 2nd March 2006. We are currently developing plans for the North East England stand and we will be contacting industry partners soon with details of how to get involved in this event.

Education Guide

The new Education Guide has been finalised and we will receive copies next week.  The Guide targets over 2500 primary and secondary schools within a 2.5 hour drive time from the region, who are interested in learning about the region and our history. 

Travel Trade Roadshow

The last of this years roadshow programme will be held at the Tower Thistle in London on 5th December. For further information about this roadshow please contact Denise Wigham on 0191 229 6845.
