Welcome to the Sustainable Development Toolkit...
As part of the ONE’s procedures for developing and delivering funded projects, your project's Business Case must now be accompanied by a ‘Sustainable Development Report’. This sets out how the project will address sustainable development issues. Failure to complete this will result in possible rejection at the relevant approval panel
To make this process as simple and efficient as possible, and to ensure that your project promotes sustainable development, this SD Toolkit has been developed which requires you to answer a series of questions and produces a Sustainable Development Report for your project.
The SD Toolkit is broken down into eight Themes, each then split into sub-sections, with questions for you to answer at both Theme and sub-section levels. The eight SD Themes are as follows:
- High Quality and Sustainable Design
- Equality and Diversity
- Sustainable Consumption and Production
- Climate Change and Energy
- Natural, Historic and Cultural Assets
- Building Social Capital
- Rural Communities
- Healthy Living
Visual progress tools have been provided to help you understand how much of the SD Toolkit you have completed and, once done, you can export all of the questions and your responses to a single PDF document for your Sustainable Development Report.
To start using the toolkit, select the 'Create Project' option to the left.
If you have already set-up your project and would like to continue filling out the toolkit, select 'Open Project'.
