The scheme provides a Government guarantee for unsecured loans from high street banks and other lenders for a period between 2 and 10 years.
Size of Deals
The scheme provides a guarantee against loans made to SMEs of between £5,000 and £250,000 from most major high street banks and other lenders for a wide range of business needs, including buying assets and providing funding for working capital.
In which area is the support available?
The North East of England.
Who can apply?
SMEs who would not ordinarily be considered by a bank for a loan due to a lack of adequate security or a lack of time to build up a suitable track record. A workable business plan is necessary.
