SRPs Strategic Visions

All the SRPs have drawn together their own strategic vision for their areas with the context of the Regional Economic Strategy.  They have mapped out action plans and investment programmes for spending the 'single pot' funds delegated to them by One NorthEast from its own budget.  Their programmes include other funding available from European and National public sources.

The Tees Valley vision embraces building a competitive and sustainable economy, and a confident, vibrant society along with a liveable and sustainable environment.  The Partnership is working together to determine how best to realise this vision.

The County Durham vision is to secure the economic well being of the county.  It focuses on learning and skills along with developing entrepreneurship as its main priorities.

The Tyne and Wear strategy is committed to a step-change in economic prosperity of the sub-region with the priority being projects with a strategic impact, not only for Tyne and Wear, but also for the Region as a whole.

The Northumberland strategy concentrates on the need for Northumberland to become integrated with Regional, National and Global economies.  Its unique assets will be harnessed to deliver the County's distinctive contribution to the Region.
