Business and Skills Committee

The Business and Skills Committee (formerly Business Development Committee and Education, Skills & Employment Committee) is a Standing Committee of the Agency’s Board, which carries out the detailed examination of the following specific areas of the Agency’s activities on behalf of the Board:

• Overseeing all aspects of the business and skills agenda of the Agency including the Strategy for Success, clusters, the electronic economy, inward investment, international trade, and process improvement
• Overseeing the support provided to the business industries sectors of the region and the Agency’s activities and programmes in relation to the support of these sectors
• Leading the continuous review of the business and skills strategy and tactical planning
